First three songs- done!

Well, today went pretty good. I got the first three pieces done out of the baroque period book.
Some things I noticed in each piece:

 1. I wanted to play the first one and second one in a "more dramatic" way (especially Pavana). I don't know how to explain it, but I guess more of a "minor tone". It seemed to fit, especially when you make the C# in the last chord a natural.  Obviously you should play what's written on the music, but making some notes different seems better.

 2. You need to remember we are in a totally different era of music, not the baroque period. We are studying this to better understand the different time periods. This is pretty much "history of music".

3. The trills were definitely confusing and in those slower songs my fingers were just not ready for fast movements like that. :)

4. The fingering was much harder in the book than what I played. Adjust it to what works best for you.

5.  I think these pieces will be practiced much more in the future. They may look easy but they are definitely not as easy as you think they are.

Enjoy learning them!
